ArchBang is a simple GNU/Linux rolling release distribution which provides you with a lightweight Arch Linux system combined with the Openbox Window Manager. Suitable for both desktop and portable systems – It is fast, stable, and always up to date.
ArchBang GNU/Linux aims to provide an out-of-the-box Arch Linux experience with a pre-configured Openbox desktop suite whilst being simple and adhering to The Arch Way. ArchBang is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The name ArchBang is inspired by #!CrunchBang Linux.
You can customise your install to suit your needs, and draw on the vast resources & knowledge of the Arch Linux community. Summer 2014 Release: http://sourceforge.net/projects/archbang/files/, bootable as a live CD / USB – allowing you to easily test it out before doing a full install. Next to the default Archbang iso you will see a lightweight version We are discussing the option if the lightweight could and should become the the default one.
